I began my public health career in 1995 as a Health Educator with the Mid-Michigan District Health Department. In 2003 I began working in Emergency Preparedness as a specialist and became the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in 2009. I received my Professional Emergency Manager certification in January of 2011. My department serves Clinton, Gratiot and Montcalm counties and resides within two healthcare coalitions, Region 1 & 6. I have been a supporter of Do1Thing almost from the beginning and promote the ideas and concepts internally with staff and to the communities throughout Michigan whenever and where ever I can.
