Check out the Emergency Kit Cook-Off site! The Kit Cook-Off was created by the Arizona Division of Emergency Management in Phoenix, but is a web-based activity open to anyone living in a place where there is the threat of emergency or natural disaster.

The Emergency Kit Cook-Off is a participatory preparedness activity inspired by the nonperishable contents of a 72-hour emergency food kit. The Kit Cook-Off encourages play with preparedness principles. More to the point, the Kit Cook-Off challenges people to find creative use for the three day's worth of food and potable water that they should have squirreled away in case of an emergency. The Kit Cook-Off was created by the Arizona Division of Emergency Management in Phoenix, but is a web-based activity open to anyone living in a place where there is the threat of emergency or natural disaster. Do 1 Thing had a chance to meet the program leader at the CDC earlier this year and we highly recommend checking it out! It is a fun and innovative way to get prepared!
