After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, comes Giving Tuesday, a global day for giving back. This year, #GivingTuesday is on December 1st. We hope you will support Do 1 Thing on #GivingTuesday and #DonateD1T on December 2nd, 2015.
Become a champion for emergency preparedness information for those with access and functional needs, support our business continuity outreach efforts, and our ever expanding resources and goals. After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, comes Giving Tuesday, a global day for giving back. This year, #GivingTuesday is on December 1st. We hope you will stand with us in giving back and supporting Do 1 Thing on #GivingTuesday December 1st and #DonateD1T anytime.
We will be introducing sponsorship levels for all our members and partners and you can become a sponsor for as little as $25.00 in a whole year! Even if you donate less we will still list other donation and your name, and as always anyone may be private. If you are not able to give a monetary donation you may become a Volunteer through our Ambassador Program. We need help reaching out all over the United States and beyond. This will include special benefits such as calendars, and other things, which we will be releasing the levels later on this year! Any amount given this December will be included into 2016 Membership Sponsorship's and you will be featured on our website. The next levels are a bit higher but the minimum to join our premier sponsor and be featured on our website as a Platinum Level is just $2500.00 in one year. We are looking at only 4 of these in 2016. More details will be released in the next newsletter.
All year long Do 1 Thing manages to continue to grow and expand despite our limited funding stream. We always want to be able to provide you all with free information, and to do so we often need donations to keep us running. We can’t thank everyone enough for helping us reach out and expand and grow. Do 1 Thing is a Tax exempt 501 © 3 with a Charity solicitation license in the state of Michigan-We work hard all year to ensure that preparedness information remains free and accessible for everyone. We are smaller than most realize and with just our Executive Director as the only paid staff member, we know we could do so much more with more employees. This #GivingTuesday, we hope you will become more than just a champion and an ambassador as you all have helped us grow so fast and into a well-known and highly respected emergency preparedness program. Join us in assuring that we can keep giving expanding our Whole Community Emergency Preparedness information to everyone with emergency preparedness information. We wish to expand our languages, do more with assistive technology and expand into other places.
We would like also to thank our largest donors this year, which either contributed a donation or in-kind that have made it possible to continue the work that we have been doing! They are on our website and we appreciate them!
Please join us by even tweeting this out or sharing this on your social media links! We appreciate it! #GivingTuesday and #DonateD1T
