Do1Thing is a non-profit organization that aims to build disaster resilient communities. When individuals in our community are prepared, emergency responders can help more people. In turn, when people are more prepared themselves, they can help their neighbors. The Do1Thing program works because of our unique step-by-step approach that makes it easy to get started preparing for disasters and emergencies.
The concept of Do1Thing entails doing "1thing" each month in order to build an emergency plan. Our program breaks emergency planning down into small and easy steps to help alleviate the stress of doing everything at once.
Our board is comprised of members from many different service agencies who work together to help people become prepared.
Feeling pretty prepared? Check out our Emergency Preparedness Ambassador course. Learn how to help your community become better prepared. For more information please go to https://training.safeandready.org/p/preparedness-ambassador.
